Tell me a little about your brand.

The raison d'être for Passage to Luxury  is to provide a comprehensive online luxury guide for the time poor, discerning traveller. There are so many luxury travel sites to choose from that it can often be difficult to decide between them. Passage to Luxury offers a trusted directory of the best luxury travel companies available, with the emphasis being on quality not quantity. Should you be looking for a luxury ski holiday, a bespoke safari or a contemporary new hotel; Passage to Luxury is the hallmark of luxury travel.

Where do you see your brand in the next 3 years?

I would like to see Passage To Luxury become recognized and established in both the industry and among readers alike, as the go to place for all aspects of luxury travel.

In your opinion, what does it take to have to launch, refine and grow a powerful LUXE brand?

A consistent high quality product and/or service that is universally trusted and respected.

Why is it important for luxury brands to engage in the social world?

Luxury brands can be more hesitant to engage in the social world but in this ever changing technological landscape it is important to have an online presence. Images, storytelling and trust are essential in influencing decisions and this can be brought alive by social media. 

What are some of your favorite LUXE hospitality brands around the world?

Ooh, a difficult one. My favourite hotel brand has to be Four Seasons. In the last twelve months, Rosewood London, Ham Yard, Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs) and Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons have impressed and from a boutique point of view, Fazenda Nova and La Bandita Townhouse.

If you could invite any inspiring individual for an intimate dinner who would it be? What would you ask?

I would invite Tamara Heber-Percy (co-founder of Mr & Mrs Smith) to dinner and ask her advice on building a global brand.

It would be Richard Branson, and of course, I would ask him to invest in our company.

What do you pack in your suitcase?

Very Little. The lighter the better.
