Describe your brand and/or product:

KYPRIS is a luxurious, natural cosmeceutical skin care line that weds the best of green science with organic, biodynamic, wild-crafted, and sustainably grown botanicals for an ecstatic experience of your beauty.

Where do you see your brand in the next 3 years?

More of what we're doing now i.e. serving the most luxurious spas, beautiful apothecary and specialty retailers, and choice wellness offices. I would also like to deliver stronger sustainability initiatives with clearer metrics of success and performance. 

In your opinion, what does it take to have to a powerful LUXE brand?

Superior quality product, excellent customer service, and a strong brand story that informs the experience.

Who has been your greatest mentor(s)?

There are many, but I would say the mentors I connect with most often are from my Green Spa Network family, which if you love spa and luxury, you must visit their website. 

Rona Berg, who is the editor in chief at Organic Spa Magazine, is one of the most informed, aware, well educated, well traveled person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in our industry. I am appreciative of Rona because I learn from her every time I speak to her, and she has generously supported me and my brand.

Lisa Sykes who is the current head of sustainability for Universal Companies is someone who I can talk through challenging sustainability and sourcing issues. We are very like-minded when it comes to sustainability concerns and the future of the luxury beauty. I am grateful to her for her generous wisdom and support working through what can be difficult issues. 

And Leslie Johnson who developed many of the programs Miraval is famous for is now at the Arizona Biltmore. She has this golden touch when it comes to imbuing spirit in what we typically think of as mundane experiences. I am grateful to her for her immense wisdom creating beautiful experiences for people they don't even know they are craving. 

Without these three incredible women, KYPRIS would be a different brand.

What are some 2015 brand goals?

Brand collaborations, team building, and expanding our offerings. 

I love the practice of co-branding with causes that align with KYPRIS values. We just launched in a philosophy of living by Donna Karan in Aspen, and we could not be more excited. The Urban Zen Foundation furthers integrative medicine educate which is vital to our collective well being as well as where KYPRIS has its roots.  I could not be more excited for KYPRIS to  supporting their cause. I hope we can do even more.

If you could invite ANY 3 individuals for an intimate dinner who would they be and what would you ask?

Diane Ackerman - I would love to learn about her research and creative processes.

Ruth Reichl - I would love to go to the farmer's market and cook with her all the while talking about her aversion to writing that magically churns out beautiful work.

Danielle Nierenberg of Food Tank - I would love to learn more about the successes and evolution of organic growing practices being developed, used, and taught through out the world.
